Abstract:

Contains notes, photograph, photocopies, and other documents relating to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity events at North Carolina State University from 1899 through 1956, especially the baseball game and Pika ball held annually on Easter Monday.

Robert Gerald (Hank) Utley (1924-), executive director of the Cabarrus County Boys Club in Concord, North Carolina, graduated from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University) in 1950. While he was a student, he played on the baseball team, 1946-1950, and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Biographical Note

Robert Gerald (Hank) Utley (1924-) graduated from North Carolina State College of Agriculture and Engineering (later North Carolina State University) in 1950. While he was a student, he played on the baseball team, 1946-1950, and was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Utley afterwards lived in Concord, North Carolina, was executive director of the Cabarrus County Boys Club.
